Dig out your costumes, Portland dancers!
Join dance leader Donna Cole for a dance party celebrating the holiday of Purim (aka the “Feast of Lots”). Dance to classic and current dances! Eat tasty hamantaschen (triangular Purim cookies)! Snap yourself in the photo booth! Compete in the costume contest! Prizes awarded for best costumes.
All are welcome: beginners through advanced, kids and adults of all ages. Not a dancer? No worries, we will teach you a few basic steps.
Let’s dance until we can’t tell the difference between Haman (bad guy in the Purim story) and Mordechai (good guy)!
Admission is $10 for this special event, as we complete our goal of raising a meaningful amount to donate to the Moshe family in Israel (cousins of our dancer Sasson Nouri) to help them rebuild their lives. Additional donations welcome (cash or Venmo).

Help Us Spread the Word!
First-timers are welcome to come at 7:00 pm for the beginner class, and of course they can hang out and enjoy the music as long as they like. Don't forget to invite dancers that don't come to weekly sessions--they might not hear about this event otherwise. If you're going to a Jewish organization that has a bulletin board, please print a flyer and post it. Thank you!
